Tom founded CTS based on his vision that converged technologies should be designed, engineered, and supported by a single source. This single implementer approach is the only true way to capture the efficiencies of IP based solutions and maximize the value for his clients.
TECHNOLOGY THAT WORKS FOR YOU. Tom developed this slogan based on his founding belief that technology is the most important tool for business and that it should be proven, reliable, and integrated seamlessly into the company workflow.
Every project is equally important to Tom and deserves excellence in customer service, be it a single cable or display install or a “full campus” converged technology solution. In this belief, CTS expresses gratitude for the opportunity to serve.
Believing that the best way to help a customer is to provide technologies that achieve maximum ROI, Tom provides technologies that are state-of-the-art, proven, and where possible, upgradable.
Tom has been in the low voltage technology market for his entire professional career. He started out as a novice technician and learned the industry from the front lines. From there he went all the way to earning his RCDD certification, managing projects ranging from 1 cable outlet to a $10M data center build. He has since stepped out of the project management side, and focuses on business development, company strategy, and community involvement. He has extensive experience in all sectors of low voltage tech from voice/data cabling, audio visual, sound masking, access control, wireless, and DAS.
His pride and joy are his 2 children, Carter and Reese. When not at work, he enjoys golfing and fishing, and is a (painfully) diehard fan of all things N.C. State.
